History[]

XVIIIth c.[]

In 1782, Jonathan wanted to create a city where rich and new Californian citizens could settle, in a new and luxurious surrounding. He had built a ranch in steppes, near the mountain, on the 9th April of the same year. During the airspace race, he had developed his own hot-air balloon and it was red-hot across the Atlantic. Thus, he launched other flying machines from the top of the mountain and he landed them at the bottom of this one from the 1st of November. These tests provided a big show to the population who loved it increasingly, and as for as many engineers and investors.

At the beginning of 1783, many gold panners discovered that the mountain’s rivers were full of gold. Many of them made a fortune. So, a rich community settled in the mountain. On 24th of June, census counts 1000 residents. The 1st of August, sees the municipality being created and Jonathan becomes the mayor and names the city as “Jonathanland”.

Between 1787 and 1795, many industries such as sawmills, papermills, and some mines began developing, giving rise to import, export and laborers coming their way. John Junior and Georgi, Jonathan’s sons are the first ones to exploit the mines of the mountain. It's for the city’s birthday that Jordan family inaugurates this castle, 100% made in Jonathaland. It is taking center stage, above the mine.
