Madison Color is a collection of women's, men's and children's clothing created by designer Mason Ewing in 2005. This subsidiary of the Mason Ewing Corporation is the first apparel brand in the world to offer the innovative concept of Braille lettering on its T-shirts so that blind and sighted people can tell by touch what color and pattern is on their garment.
Origin
When Mason Ewing came up with the idea for this brand, it was to pay tribute to his mother Marie Francesca Elong, a former fashion designer and model who passed away in 1986 in Douala, Cameroon. Mason has always said that he was inspired by his late mother's beautiful legacy. For him, Madison Color needed to transmit messages of tolerance, peace and love. That's why in 2005 he had the idea of having an 11-month-old baby named Madison with mixed skin, blue eyes and a blond streak of hair.
Mason worked for years with his team on a strategy featuring the Baby Madison logo.
Baby Madison
Universe[]
In March 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, he developed with his creative team the Baby Madison universe by launching a multitude of derivative products affiliated to the Madison Color brand.
His goal is to make his baby's universe come to life in his fictional city. Jonathanland, which is located in Southern California. Mason wishes to make children "travel," to teach them open-mindedness, tolerance thanks to all the books created in the universe of The Adventures of Madison. Mason feels strongly about these two ideas. First "A child doesn't lie, doesn't judge, and loves everyone." Second: "I'd like Madison's Adventures books encourage good behavior. For example, children will brush their teeth every night without their parents having to force them to do so.
Message[]
Mason and his team would be thrilled if Baby Madison helped bring parents and children together and became a model for the world. That's what he's fighting for. For him, the Madison Color brand is not just clothing, it is a universal message, embodied by this little angel Baby Madison. Moreover, this brand is also eco-responsible and the Braille affixed to the clothes allows blind people to be more independent. Above all, Madison Color promotes the well-being of us all.
Future[]
The Madison Color brand has been fortunate to have the support of leading figures from the world of sports, cinema, fashion, and French music. In 2023, the launch of the line is scheduled in California, the state where Baby Madison lives.
Madison Color has something magical and it has created a big family with all the people who believe in it. Mason keeps saying that his doors are always open for anyone who wants to be part of this beautiful family and exciting adventure.
